Six sigma as a process enabler and strategic facilitator for knowledge in sustainable development: a SME case study

摘要

Knowledge management, six sigma, sustainable development. Three sets of words that are the pursuits of today's organizations. The essence of this paper is to show how one small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) using six sigma as an enabler via breakthrough improvement, created new knowledge contributing towards a cultural ethos that was endemic to sustainable development. It discusses issues that a SME need to consider when striving for such a goal.
