The Star-Structure of Enterprise Organization for the New Economic Environment

In the paper, a star-structure of enterprise organization is put forward, which is based on coordination center and supported by manufacturers, suppliers, sellers, forwarders and designers. The coordination center holds complete information relatively. In star-structure, entities along the supply chain can share information adequately. The phenomena of information distortion and blowing up can be avoided or eliminated. Material flow can be separated from information flow and fund flow moderately, and the adjusting role of information can bring into play sufficiently. The jam of material flow and its chain reaction among enterprises can be solved which is aroused by the lack of information and fund. Eventually the agility of enterprise can be promoted. The basic theory and characteristics of star-structure are illustrated in detail, and an application instance is provided.
