Determination of hospital and clean room gown linting using an image analyzer

摘要

A test method was developed to measure the linting properties of hospital and clean room gowns or lab coats using black electrical tape and an image analyzer. Both woven and nonwoven gowns were investigated. The amount, area, major axis length, breadth and perimeter of the lint particles were obtained and a linting index was developed.
