Introduction to Using PCD Tools

摘要

Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) represents an economic alternative as a cutting tool material despite the significantly high tool costs if the advantages of PCD are used and the disadvantages of PCD are avoided. This paper introduced some basic knowledge for using PCD tools including grades of PCD, cutting parameter guidelines, tool preparation and usage guidelines, trouble shouting and important data's for improvement process.
