Structure to Evaluation Index System of Beijing's Leading Industries

摘要

According to the basic characteristics and function of a region's leading industries, we set seven selection criteria, in consider with the present condition of Beijing, which are: industrial holding, economic efficiency, development rates, market needs, technology progress, comparative superiorities and industrial linkage. With these dimensions, we can establish an industry evaluation index system of regional leading industries. After that, with principal component analysis, we give a synthetic score to the seven dimensions; with analytic hierarchy process (AHP), we build a judgment matrix to give them weight vectors; with a synthetic measurement of their weight, we bring out a sort order of Beijing's leading industries; determine the leading industries of Beijing, as follows: Elelctronic and Telecommunications, Transportation Equipment Manufacturing, Pharmacy, Chemical Industry, Ferrous Metal Smelting, and etc.
