Logging Evaluation of Quick Sedimentation Reservoir

The repaid sedimentation rate caused the fine grain size, high thickness, low texture maturity, the repaid change rate of sedimentary phase, difficult fluid discharge, seriously inhomogeneous, poor continuity laterally, and several oil-water system with high pressure. All above characters result in low resistivity oil zones and complex pressure system, which make it difficult to identify oil zones. Based on the core analysis data and testing data, the characters of reservoir are analyzed in lithology, properties and oiliness, and the genesis of low resistivity oil zones is identified. First the reservoirs are categorized, and then different reservoirs are evaluated by different criterions. Based on identification of reservoir characters, the interpretation models and parameters are determined. The reservoir parameters are analyses and calculated by composite curves analyses and maximum optimization methods. These interpretation models and parameters are also corrected by core analysis and well test results. For the abnormal high pressure zones, the pressure depletion problems caused by production and problems in the oil-gas zone evaluations, SP and caliper data etc. are used to identify them and then recommend production from the separate zones.
