It is a more effective method that dual lateral and induction curves identify oil-water layer. For the thin interbed interpretation, array induction log has higher resolution for thin interbeds, but up to date, Jilin Oilfied is less this kind of logging..in the other hand, Lateral resistivity has better result for thin interbed, but it is affected largely by mud invasion; Induction log is affected less by mud invasion but with low vertical resolution. Now, we develop the resolution and dynamic range of the dual induction logging using signal processing theories and it has applied in the part of Jinlin Oilfield, moreover, it acquires preferable effect in the recognization of oil and water layer.
