Pertinence Analysis of Nest Site Selection of Pied Magpie and Urban Green Space

Pied magpie is widespread resident birds in the north of China. The amount of pied magpie has evident pertinence with the quality of urban ecological environment. With the development of urbanization, many lawns are constructed while destroying great amount of natural landscape of city. The nest sites of pied magpie in Tianjin of China are investigated and 103 sets of data are obtained. Then it is analyzed that the pertinence of nest site selection of pied magpie and urban green space using principal component analysis and singe factor analysis approach. And suggestions for urban ecological environmental protection and construction are given, and it is pointed out that the planting of arbor and the protection of indigenous plant and natural vegetation should be strengthened to construct health urban ecosystem.
