Safety Management System in Bridge Construction

摘要

In the present study, we attempted to develop the safety management system for workers and site foremen who are working in the erection sites of bridges. The information on accidents can be retrieved and inputted by using a microcomputer. The database for this system was described in extensible markup language (XML) so that workers and site foremen can retrieve information from any erection sites through the world wide web (Web) and use these information for their safety planning and management. Furthermore, by using the same format, information can be shared among all concerned and a large number of accident cases can be accumulated easily.
