摘要

The previously described detector system allowing for fast and accurate determination of fiber content (where both phase and magnitude information can be used) is extended in such a way that it allows to generate standing waves with orientations along three different directions. By switching between these different orientations and analyzing the obtained data one can determine local fiber orientation rapidly. It is obvious that this technique is suited for on-line characterization of processes and of the manufactured products.
