摘要

In this paper we report on two phenomena shown by nanostructured and amorphous materials with growing interest from the point of view of technological applications: anisotropic magnetoresistence and magnetoimpedance. Both effects are characterized by outstanding variations of resistance and impedance, respectively, for low applied fields which enable the construction of magnetic field sensors. In this paper we present an overview of these phenomena and their applications.
