Catch Composition and Seasonal Variation of Setnet Fisheries in the Huanghai Sea and Bohai Sea

摘要

The paper reprots the basic characteristics of the catch composition, distribution and seasonal variation of set-net fisheries in the Huanghai Sea and Bohai Sea. There are total of 126 species in the samples, within which there were 102 fish species. 17 Crustacean species, 5 Cephalopoda, 2 Medusea species. Both the number of species and biomass of the setnet catches have evident geographical variations. Because of seasonal variations of temperature and salinity, the fishery resources in the region therefore exhibited seasonal variations, which is reflecte in yields.
