Prospects for Integrated Fish Culture in China's Reservoirs

摘要

To begin with analyses on the structures of eoosystem and interrelations between them in integrated fish culture in reservoirs (IFCR), the natural conditions, significance, practical fundamentals and theoretical basis are described in this paper. Furtherore, the potential fish productivity (PFP) for IFCR is predicted. The results show that the fish yield per hectare in IFCR can be reached 3 015.0 kg, it is much higher than that of the traditional farming system.
