Introduction to Japan NUS (JANUS) ( For 2nd Joint Conference between the Chinese Nuclear Society and JGC )

JANUS was founded in 1971 based on the capital and technological capabilities of JGC Corporation, a leading Japanese engineering firm and those of NUS Corporation, one of the most prominent U.S. consulting and engineering firms in the nuclear utility-related field, with additional joint investment from Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), and subsequently from Kansai and Chubu Electric Power Companies. Since the establishment of JANUS, we have been engaged in consultation, engineering and system development in the nuclear, environmental and system development-related fields, offering extensive services to our clients. In order to contribute to the problem-solving and decision-making processes of our clients, JANUS performs comprehensive analysis and evaluation of any existing problems and counter measures thereto. Our approach is based on an integrated professional viewpoint drawing on the Company's expansive and in-depth scientific and technological expertise, performing field surveys and/or literature surveys in Japan and/or overseas if required.
