GSR ventures invested in LatticePower corporation: gains and losses analysis

摘要

After a brief review of the GSR's investment in LatticePower Corporation, this paper analyses the gains and losses of the investment in the macro and micro aspects on the basis of venture capital investment theory. From the macro perspective, by investing in LatticePower Corporation GSR Ventures has enriched the investment portfolio, improved the investment structure and even has deeply involved in LED industry in China to build a relatively complete industrial chain of LED. However, GSR Venture has failed to realize their original intention of the investment according to the theory of risk investment.
