Knowledge tree management system based on dimension model: a trial in knowledge management

Knowledge management (KM) is becoming popular in the Internet Age. However, paying too much attention to knowledge itself, most knowledge management system (KMS) overlooked the importance of knowledge owner. In addition, as a key indicator to measure a KMS, tacit knowledge mining cannot be ignored. To solve this problem, this paper designed an enhanced structure of knowledge tree management system (KTMS) based on knowledge dimension model, which combines the knowledge with the knowledge owner comprehensively. Using the data in higher education, we proved the rationality and effectiveness of KTMS.
