JetBlue has been very active since its inception 16 years ago to foster young adults into all jobs at the airline. One areawhere JetBlue has been very active is in attracting pilots to become part of its GATEWAY PROGRAMS. There areseveral tiers of GATEWAY PROGRAMS for pilots that help to bring in talent to the airline. In this time of airline industrygrowth and facing large retirements or pilots and a lack of entry level interest we see a pilot shortage. JetBlue is turningeven more to innovative ways to attract individuals with a high aptitude that do not have a pilot license to become anairline pilot.
