Data transmission for navigation and supervision, especially, the use of the secondary radar system (SSR) mode-S, which allows a selective communication between ground and aboard; collision avoidance with SSR mode-S; experimental measuring of the SSR field; automatic control; air traffic management planning; air traffic simulation models; and the Computer Oriented Metering Planning and Advisory System for approach flight are discussed.
