摘要

Full waveform inversion (FWI) is considered to be an important method which can improve the ability of petroleum exploration of the seismic prospecting, however, due to its huge computational cost, the FWI is restricted to be applied in actual production. This paper develops a CUDA-based acceleration of the time-domain FWI method with phase encoding, the numerical test of model data shows that under the strategy of acceleration of GPU and phase encoding, the computational efficiency of time-domain FWI can be improved significantly, which may make it possible to execute the time-domain FWI for large amounts of data.
