Analysis of the SA-Like Selection Operator in Differential Evolution-Simulated Annealing (DESA) Optimization Algorithm

This paper presents a mathematical analysis of the hybrid algorithm DESA, a combination of Differential Evolution (DE) and Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithm. DESA is a DE-based algorithm with SA-like selection operator. The discussion includes the detailed algorithmic frameworks and characteristics of the DESA-population and its comparison with the classical DE algorithm.
