摘要

Water splitting is the clean and well-known technology to produce hydrogen in an environmentally friendly approach.Currently,transition-metal oxides especially Ni-based catalysts have been used as alternative electrode materials due to their low cost and excellent HER activity.However,low electrochemical active surface area and poor electrical conductivity as well as charge transfer ability are still the challenges for the application.Modification of the morphology as well as electronic structure by combining different metal oxides is one way to improve the performance due to the synergistic effect and improved in electronic property.In this report,we successfully synthesized NiO-CuO mixed oxide with 3D flower-like structure on carbon paper(NiO-CuO/CP)by a one-step unipolar pulse electrodeposition(UPED)method.The effects of metal loading and operation condition on performance of cathode were investigated.
