The purpose of this work is to develop a new methodology for material handling processes. Material handling can be defined as the basic operation in connection with the movement of bulk, packaged and individual products in a semi-solid or solid-state employing gravity, manual or power actuated equipment and within the limits of individual producing, fabricating, processing or service establishment. So the project aims to develop a tool carrying Remote Control(RC) Robot which is a line following robot. The main elements of material handling are motion, time, quantity and space. Using the tool carrying R C robot various tools can be transported to the operator, thereby reducing the production time. Serial communication is established between all components of the system namely worker, robot and tool store. Fatigue is an important phenomenon in industrial psychology because it creates many problems including stress, weakness, tiredness, exhaustion and of course a decrease in productivity. These can be avoided by continuous monitoring of the mental state of the worker. This can be achieved by using brainwave technology through brain data obtained from Electroencephalogram (EEG) devices. The brain is the center of activity, reading the brainwaves and analyzing them enables this task to be done very efficiently.
