This paper presents simulation of two stage cascode amplifier and folded cascode amplifier in 90nm and 180nm technologies. The folded cascode Op-Amp offers self-compensation, good input common mode range and the gain of two stage Op-Amp. The performance parameters obtained through simulation are compared together and with the parameters reported in a previous work. The data exhibited in frequency response of folded cascode amplifier in 90 nm are 31.7 dB gain,989 MHz bandwidth and 20GHz Unity Gain Bandwidth product. These parameters obtained through simulation ensure the performance improvement. The simulation is done using Cadence Virtuoso tool and the results show significance of folded cascode amplifier in high frequency applications.
