Sharing the Experience of the Ecological and Participatory Restoration inDrilling Locations: A Sustainable Synergy Between Communities,the Stateand the Company

The restoration of ecosystem and functions to a trajectory that shows a clear recovery path of the areas is acommitment made by Repsol in the areas intervened during the exploration phase.The latest areas to restorewere the drilling pads Mapi LX and Mashira GX,both in the territory of the Tsoroja Native Community andin the buffer area of the Ashaninka Communal Reserve,a protected area by the state.This paper aims to showthe concerted effort made by Repsol with the native communities,the Service of Natural Protected Areasof Peru(SERNANP)and the administration of the Ashaninka Communal Reserve(ECOASHANINKA)inorder to achieve the ecological restoration of this areas in a participatory manner.
