In order to promote teaching reform and improve teaching quality, the study uses the Internet technology to assist foreign language teaching. Three rounds of action research have been carried out to explore the blended teaching mode combining students’ online self-study and offline project-based learning in the English course Intercultural Communication. With the interaction provided by the intelligent teaching platform named Super Star, the study tried to promote the cooperation between students (SS) as well as teachers and students (TS). SPSS is used to analyze the data formulated from the teaching platform such as learning behavior, learning achievement and of survey. The study found that the blended teaching model assisted students to evaluate their own academic performance and promote their autonomous learning ability.
