摘要

1.Co-located methane and meteorological data were successfully used to identify and quantify CH_4 emissions from equipment at Site 8-8. 2.Higher CH_4 concentrations were consistently observed when sensors were downwind of equipment at Site 8-8, and coincident ethane measurements were used to differentiate between multiple sources at the site. 3.Measurement uncertainty of ±1% is sufficient to support a broad range of applications at oil and gas facilities, including emissions quantification. 4.Good accuracy (1-2%), precision (1-4%), and time resolution (1-minute to 1-second) are needed to locate and quantify transient methane emissions. The Aeris sensor proved capable of meeting these measurements objectives. 5.Sensor data can be used to quantify real-world emissions.
