In the manufacturing of plastic materials, the naphtha derived from fossil petroleum are used. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify and reduce the environmental burden for the life cycle in plastic material. In this study, LCA for manufacturing of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) resin adding biomass bamboo powder was carried out. The plastic materials are expected to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by adding bamboo powder having a carbon neutral effect. The purpose of this research is to calculate the CO2 reduction effect when bamboo powder is added to ABS resin and to consider the significance of using of carbon neutral material.
