Brushless DC motors (BLDC) can achieve higher performance on efficiency in comparison with the traditional Brushed DC motor, but their control is more complicated because it requires a phase supply switching circuit. This paper presents a fuzzy logic control of an inrunner brushless motor with axial flux based on hall effect sensors and a DS1104 card to implement the all control scheme. a simplification of the model in two phase conduction mode of the brushless motor is developed. Finally an experiment implementation is presented to show the response on speed with fuzzy logic control and verify the capability and performance of the control algorithm.
