The paper presents studies on self-regulating heating elements. In order to get the effect of self-regulation, a graphene-like structure was introduced into the fluoroplastic structure. The effect was established regarding the dynamics of current consumption, which comprises a constant stabilization section after reaching the threshold temperature. It was revealed that the current is stabilized at a constant level over time, whereas the environmental conditions do not change. It was found that for the sample containing 35 % of the graphene-like material, the temperature regime is stabilized 5 s earlier than for the sample containing 20 % of that nanoadditive. Furthermore, the current stabilization is achieved at 0.57 A for the first sample, whereas for the second one - at 0.50 A. This corresponds to the power of 125.4 and 110.0 W, respectively. In the resulting self-regulating heater, the temperature field is uniformly distributed, which was revealed during its operation at a supply voltage of 220 V.
