The process of selective laser melting direct manufacturing based on H13 Die Steel is studied to explore the optimized process of H13 mold products. Laser linear energy and two critical process parameters including laser power and scanning space are carried out process validation and analysis, test the mechanical performance of samples manufactured, analyze the surface morphology and microstructure of the representative samples. The result shows that with the laser power of 180W, scanning speed of 450 mm/s, laser linear energy of 0.40 J/mm, the sample manufactured directly by selective laser melting with 57 HRC surface hardness which is higher than the coasting standard. The internal structure of the sample is homogeneous, and the defects such as pore and spherify are less.
