Today it is necessary to study the tectonic development and structure of the region in order to forecast oil and gas prospective zones within a certain geological structure.At the same time,it is very important to understand the nature of the change in the geomechanical properties of rocks under the influence of tectonic stresses.Indeed,this will make it possible to evaluate the reservoir properties of rocks,and,as a result,predict the oil saturation of reservoirs.In this paper,various methods of reconstruction of paleotectonic stresses were studied and tested on the example of one of the oil fields of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district.Then,multivariate calculations of the tectonic model using the stress inversion method were carried out.As a result,tectonic events were identified that contributed to the formation of modern fault tectonics.Moreover,the type(compression,extension,shear)for most of the fractures(faults and microimages)and their belonging to a specific tectonic event are determined.These tectonic events serve as input information for the construction of 3D tectonic models.Thus,the aim of the research was to identify the dominant mode of paleotectonic stresses and the orientation of maximum horizontal stress.
