The sedimentary basin of the East Siberian sea shelf is at the regional stage of study.The North-Western part of the shelf is characterized by the most studied seismic methods.Early ideas about its geological structure were based mainly on data from the geological survey of Islands and adjacent land,as well as on the interpretation of potential fields.A sedimentary basin was modeled to identify oil and gas potential on the northwestern continental margin of the East Siberian shelf.Based on the results of seismic studies using time sections,the author interpreted and constructed 3D maps of reflecting horizons(Nl; Pg3-Nl; Pg2-Pg3; Pgl-Pg2; K2-Pgl; MZ-PZ).As a result,a model for the development of generation and accumulation of hydrocarbon systems for assessing the hydrocarbon potential of the sedimentary basin of the East Siberian sea shelf is constructed.
