摘要

The electromagnetic properties of a circular silver nanowire grating placed over a dielectric slab are investigated using the Maxwell formalism. The scattering properties are analyzed for the normally incident H-polarized plane wave. The lasing properties are studied for the same configuration however the dielectric slab refractive index is assumed having a negative imaginary part. The lasing modes are compared in terms of the lasing thresholds.
