While sugar is involved in many life activities,it can also be a cause of diabetes.Therefore,selective and sensitive detection of sugars is required.To design artificial sugarsensor,phenylboronic acid is an attractive recognition site,since the boronic acid forms astable ester with cis-diol moiety of sugars in water.
