Lipid bilayer membranes composed of phospholipids are the basic structure of biologicalmembranes.Liposomes,spherical enclosed structures composed of lipid bilayer,are used asmodel membranes of biological membranes.Especially,phase-separated structures inmulticomponent lipid membranes are important as models of lipid raft structure.Until now,phase separation in neutral lipid membranes has been mainly investigated.Recently,theinfluences of negatively charged lipids on membrane organization such as phase separation,isdiscussed,because they are present in biological membranes.In this study,we investigate thephase separation of negatively charged lipid membranes in various ionic environments.Weadded polyamines which play important roles in various cellular functions,such as cell division,as well as metal ions.
