Pushing the boundaries of waterborne two component non-isocyanate coatings.

摘要

Waterborne two component polyurethane coatings have been commercially available for the last 25 years.Over the years,a lot of progress has been made in order to improve the final properties of these coatings,but as of the fact that the crosslinking reaction depends on the reaction of aqueous polyols with emulsified or dispersed polyisocyanates,the layer dependant formation of surface defects that arise from reaction of isocyanate with water is still a concern.Furthermore polyisocyanate crosslinkers are under scrutiny from legislators,so their longer-term use might become an issue.
