The theoretical foundations and hypotheses of the influence of extremely-high-frequency electromagnetic radiation of low intensity on the biological structures of the body of various degrees of complexity are presented. According to the hypothesis of electromagnetic fields a priori inherent in living cells (in particular, in the millimeter range), the regenerative effect can be caused by the influence of individual quanta brought from the external environment for therapeutic purposes. The methods of extremely-high-frequency therapy confirmed by medical practice are described, as well as the areas of application and the therapeutic effect of the non-thermal nature of low-intensity electromagnetic radiation in the millimeter wavelength range.
