摘要

This paper propose an improved control scheme which addresses the DC link capacitor unbalancing and a PWM generation scheme and a PWM scheme to operate the converter under the condition of unequal power generation from solar pv panel and wind energy system. Temperature and Irradiance are the external factors that determine the power output from the PV panel and wind speed is the external factor that determines the power output of wind energy system. When a pv panel and wind energy system cascaded, This creates unequal PV power generation from PV string and wind energy system, which results in DC link capacitor unbalancing. Thus in this paper, the problems of capacitor unbalancing is resolved and current is injected to the grid with improved Power Quality (PQ).MATLAB model of the Cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) five-level Inverter topology is simulated and results are provided.
