Umpolung reaction is one of the effective strategies to expand functionality of the products. Among them, umpolung Michael reaction in which nucleophile is installed at α-position of Michael acceptor enables the synthesis of unnatural amino acids.1 However, to date, there are few reports on its domino process and application for the synthesis of useful building blocks.2
