Cycloparaphenylenes (CPPs) and their derivatives represent a growing interest because of significant progress in their bottom-up organic synthesis.1 In particular, the synthesis of CPP derivatives are of significant interest because functional group would modulate properties and functions of CPPs and provide their uses for functional material.
