Copper-Catalyzed Sulfenylation of Alkenes Using Thiols

Transition metal-catalyzed introduction of sulfide-groups to alkenes is important research for organic chemistry. To date, numerous reactions have been developed. In particular, the addition of thiols such as hydrosulfenylation, or halosulfenylation of alkenes can produce various compounds. Herein obtained compounds have found widespread utilizations as synthetic intermediates.
