摘要

For several decades, research of folded polymer has emerged as important class of functional macromolecules inspired by the structures of biopolymers. A non-natural amino acid is an often-used candidate for de novo design. Recently, we have developed a novel synthetic procedure combining asymmetric polymerization and post-polymerization modification to afford non-natural polypeptides that contains p-phenylene units in the main chain.
