DNA nanotechnology enables us to produce the programmable structures with precisely controlled morphology and shape in nanoscale thanks to the specificity of Watson-Crick base pairings. Due to inherent biocompatibility and degradability, DNA nanostructures have enormous potential in biomedical application, for instance as drug delivery system, however the rapid disassembly of DNA structures in physiological conditions limits its widespread applications.
