The research has reported the electrochemical response of glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol on the gold electrode as a candidate chemical sensor. The design and application of the gold electrode have used for the electrochemical response of glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol. The gold electrode was prepared by Au solid metal (0.5 x 10 mm) and connecting with silver wire. This study uses the cyclic voltammetry method with three electrodes, namely solid gold, Ag/AgCl, platinum as working electrodes, referents, and counter electrodes, respectively. Electrochemical responds of glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol on the gold wire as a candidate chemical sensor have done in the KOH electrolyte. The result of this research show the anodic peak current for glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol on the gold electrode in the KOH solution is 2.40xl0~(-4), 1.80xl0~(-4), and 1.85xl0~(-5) A, respectively. The solid gold material is an excellent electrochemical respond on glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol.
