摘要

Method of Shooting Bouncing Rays (SBR) can quickly calculate radar cross section (RCS) of cavity targets and handle multiple scattering between target structures as a high-frequency algorithm. In this paper, a novel method of ray tracing has been proposed by utilizing Unigraphics (UG) 3D modeling features and secondary development tool UG open application program interface (UG/OPEN API). Compared with the traditional ray tracing method, SBR based on UG can make tube and real model surface intersect, having high computing speed and accurate ray tracking, and it can calculate RCS of the cavity targets accurately.
