Ibaraki prefecture has installed a ventilator for meteorological equipment in Ibaraki prefecture and observes the concentration of carbon dioxide in the human activity area at fixed points. The DOAS method can measure the average concentration of trace components present in the optical path by propagating light through the large optical path. By the DOAS method, long-range carbon dioxide concentration was observed and compared with the fixed point observation data. As a result, the carbon dioxide concentration obtained by the DOAS method was 427 ppm and the fixed point observation was 423 ppm.
