RECENT DEVELOPMENT WITH AHSS FOR AUTOMOTIVE: SERIAL LIFE EXAMPLES AND NEXT STEPS

In this presentation, we illustrate how Gruppo CLN is using at the best the AHSS. In the recent time, with close work with steel suppliers and oems, we have put in serial production parts in AHSS (cold forming). We can achieve mass saving with optimized ratio cost/mass/investment. Key factors to reach these targets are: knowledge of the rheology of materials, intensive simulations, prototyping, tests in serial life shop, cooperation with steel suppliers and OEMs.
