Reaching the Public with a Nuclear MOOC

In 2013 and 2014, the University of Pittsburgh designed, developed and presented a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) entitled "A Look at Nuclear Science and Technology." In two presentations of the course, statistics showed that the course reached over 30,000 students from 179 countries.
