This paper describes a technological innovation project in vocational training granted by the Regional Government of Galicia-Spain for the development of an electronic equipment for the measurement of laser diodes wavelength by means of interferometric comparison. The control system has been designed improving existing equipment used for microprogramming practices with new high speed modules that provide the time resolution needed for phase comparison of the laser wavelengths. New analog modules with photodiodes and operational amplifiers developed for this project will be used in different subjects for practical activities.
