This paper presents circuit modeling, design, simulation and analysis of noninverting buck boost converter. Closed loop simulation is carried out using PI and digital gates in voltage mode control technique using PSIM 8.0.7. The system can operate in buck, buck-boost or boost mode according to the condition of the supply voltage. Load and line regulations analysis is done and it is found to be 0.0125% and 2.676% respectively with tight regulations. efficiency is found to be 91.33%. under performance analysis it is found that ripple content in the output is reduced and enhanced the efficiency. non-inverting converter is employed to serve the need of the battery-powered applications. A voltage control pwm technique is adapted in the controller to enhance the efficiency and voltage regulation of the converter by reducing the transients caused during the transition from the buck mode to the boost mode.
